Controls

  • WASD - move

Gameplay Hints

The blue circle asset is a Lapis Lazuli gemstone that will permanently increase one of your stats as you remember skills you thought you'd lost!

Portals will always take you to a new room so explore a new room if there isn't anything interesting!

About Development

This game was built as a submission for the One Lone Coder Codejam 2023. It is the second real test of a custom Java 2D game engine I am working on. With this game I really wanted to test out some new rendering features in the game engine like the lighting system, particle system and GUI elements.

Install instructions

The .jar file should run on any platform with Java 17 via 

java -jar rememory-1.0.0.jar

On windows you can download the .zip file and simply run the rememory.exe file.
